Sometimes your web browser is password protected. The protection is caused by a feature called content advisor built inside the core of the Internet Explorer browser, which caused a password field to be required whenever the web browser initiates. The advantage of this feature is to prevent unauthorized web browsing or illegal websites to be visited. What if you forgot the password???
No problem, just follow the steps below to hack it.......enjoy.
Steps to hack the password key in the registry
Click on Start, Run and type "regedit" and click OK. This brings you
to the Registry Editor, which looks a bit like Windows Explorer.
First, make a backup by clicking on Registry, Export. Name it backup and click
3) Now, if you have forgotten the Content Advisor password, you can delete it by browsing to this folder in Regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVer sion\Policies\Ratings .Select the icon called Key in the right-hand pane and press delete. Close Regedit.
4) You can now start Internet Explorer and goto View, Internet Options.... Select the Content tab, and click on Disable. When asked for a password, don't enter anything, just click on OK. This will disable Content Advisor, since there's no longer a password.
